This section is dedicated to documenting my attempts to build my own electric guitar from parts mainly off eBay.

If you are undertaking/thinking of undertaking a similar project, please look through this website, especially the resources page.

You will need:

• Money – Parts arent cheap, and you will need more than you originally planned to get!
• Time – This isnt a quick project. So far Ive spent over a month on planning and getting the initial bits done. Planning is key (money wise too).
• Some experience with electronics – basic soldering techniques, a reasonably good soldering iron and kit will be needed too.
• Patients – I don’t generally have much of this, but if you slow down the project things will go right more often first time round!
